The American Heroes PRCA Rodeo celebrates its 62nd anniversary in Hawley, Minn. the second weekend in June.

The rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association. The smalltown of Hawley, Minnesota rolls out the red carpet for pro rodeo contestants around the region. Last year, World Champion Barrel Racer Fallon Taylor competed in the Ladies Barrel Race. Bareback Rider Tanner Aus, a multi-time National Finals Rodeo bareback rider rode his bronc to a packed hillside of rodeo fans. The Hawley Rodeo is a community favorite tradition.
